PSA
During the second semester of my freshman year, I took COM 117: Multimedia Storytelling, a mandatory video production course for all Newhouse students. One of our assignments was to create a PSA on a topic of our choice. I selected dental health—a subject not often spotlighted—and centered it around a relatable fear: being unaware of having bad breath. To amplify the message, I took this concept to the extreme, resulting in a one-minute video that I’m incredibly proud of.
This project ultimately inspired me to switch my major from journalism to advertising, as it sparked my passion for creative storytelling and innovative communication.
